The making of our snail pâtés are made only with snails from France. « Type Big Grey » (Helix aspersa maxima). They come from a typical charentaise snail farm in the region of Poitiers.
All our snail pâtés are made in our certified kitchens using our own recipes with respect for the local traditions. The « cagouille » snail being the emblem of the Saintonge, the first french region for snail farming. For those who already like them and the curious, come and try and enjoy. I have known customers who didn't like snails but loved our pâté. That's not all, the snail is used in cough medicine and the secretion in the production of cosmetics, good health for all and « Bon appétit ».
